LMF 22 BUOY TENDER

Introducing the LMF 22 which was launched at the beginning of the summer for buoy and waterway maintenance operations in the lakes of Maine. Despite it’s relatively small size, the boat routinely carries a cargo of 2500lbs consisting of buoys, anchors, and chain. The buoys and gear are worked via a davit at the side hull cutout. A bow thruster was also installed to help keep the boat on station. Powered by twin Yamaha SHO 115’s, this boat sees a 38 knot top end speed.

“We needed a landing craft tough enough for varied rescue and enforcement missions, and Lyman-Morse delivered. Their team understood our operational goals and built a 28-footer that’s both durable and incredibly functional. It’s become a key asset in our fleet.”
