COMET
Life on the coast of Maine can be challenging – rough seas, rugged shoreline, extreme weather. Our vessels are built to withstand everything mother nature can throw at us. When the USGS came to us looking for a survey vessel for their Woods Hole operations, our fabrication division was up to the task, and delivered a vessel built to handle the agency’s important and challenging work. This 26’ aluminum vessel was launched this summer as part of our growing fleet of workboats. Powered by Twin Yamaha 200HP outboards and includes a generator to power the A/C unit and several computers.
